I just returned from an afternoon at Artisanal LA at the Cooper Building in Downtown LA. What a treat . . there were over 75 vendors showcasing their delicious homemade treats. We found some new exciting options for dessert displays and perfect little details.

We have all heard that first impression is everything. Creating an interesting entrance piece can give your guests an exciting clue of what is to come. For this wedding, the bride was a fashion designer. We found a vintage manikin, glammed her up and pinned on a welcome sign. The guests loved it. It became a photo spot for the night!

It was a perfect night in Malibu to celebrate a birthday. The Kitchen for Exploring food prepared a fabulous dinner, DJ Prophet spinned just the right music and Floral Art created the perfect beach decor. Of course the party would not be complete without make your own sundae bar and “artisan” smores complete with assorted chocolate bars and flavored marshmallows from Little Flower Candy Company. For the birthday cake, all the guests lit their 3 foot sparklers and sang “Happy Birthday” to Cecelia followed by nothing other than Simon and Garfunkel’s “Oh, Celelia”.
